Priya Mahalingam, Treasurer
Savithry (Priya) Mahalingam is a Supervisor in the Boise office of LarsonAllen, LLP, a national accounting firm headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Priya provides tax planning, accounting and advisory services to individuals and businesses in a variety of industries. She has also served as Engagement –in-charge on audits until June 2009.
Ms. Mahalingam has been a practicing certified public accountant for over 8 years. She has practiced in Idaho predominantly servicing privately held business clients.

Ms. Mahalingam, a native of India, holds a Bachelor of Commerce from India. She practiced as a Chartered Accountant in India, before moving to Idaho in 2001. She passed her Certified Public Accountancy exams as one of the top ten candidates in Denver, Colorado.
Ms. Mahalingam is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Idaho Society of Certified Public Accountants. She is also a Member of Boise Young Professionals. She has written an article in Slate , a magazine by Idaho School Boards Association, to create an awareness of the changes to 403(b) plans.
Priya and her husband Vasu, spend as much time with their young children. Priya has scaled back her work to spend more time with her growing kids and has not been performing audits as an in charge, but being a support staff as needed and provide guidance to the seniors. Priya works September – May and takes a break during the summer months.
