Melissa Hegg has worked in education for ten years. Before teaching at Sage International School of Boise, she taught at an alternative high school, an inquiry-based private school, and an online charter school. She is certified to teach secondary English, humanities, and graphic communications, as well as K-8 general education and K-12 special education. Melissa earned a Masters in Education with a curriculum and instruction focus from Boise State University and is in the process of completing her educational leadership credential through the University of Idaho.
Melissa’s passion is working with young people. When not teaching or attending school, Melissa likes to be outside, travel to anyplace new, ride a cruiser bike around town, and take her dogs Jeff and Oden for hikes in the foothills.
