Laura holds a Bachelors of Science in Fashion Merchandising with a minor in Textiles and in Business from East Carolina University. She has had a broad range of career experiences including purchasing manager, business owner, customer service representative, and as a sail maker. Laura has previously worked for Sage International School in the area of reading literacy. She looks forward to being in a support role at the school and continuing to work with the children at Sage.

Laura enjoys spending time with her family – rafting and camping in the summer, skiing in the winter. Also watching her two boys play sports and goof around. When time allows, Laura is an avid knitter, sewer and creator of things made from fabric.
