A native of Pocatello, ID, Jon attended California State, Chico where he received his B.S. in Hydrology with minors in Chemistry and Geology. Additionally he holds a Masters of Science from the University of Nevada. An avid and skilled rugby player, Mr. Gould traveled extensively while in graduate school to partake in the sport, visiting such far flung locales as Berlin, Prague, Edenborough, New Castle and London. After graduating, Mr. Gould moved to New Zealand to further pursue his love of rugby.
Upon leaving New Zealand, Mr. Gould relocated to San Francisco to work as a project hydrogeologist for an environmental consulting company, eventually returning to Boise to work for the state managing a groundwater program. Mr. Gould holds a law degree from the University of Idaho and worked for ten years as a lawyer before beginning his most recent career as an educator. In his spare time, Mr. Gould is an avid outdoor enthusiast and competitive cyclist. He is excited about getting into the classroom to share his passion for education.
