Jennifer Terry - Middle School Physical Science

Jen grew up in Ottawa, Canada. Upon completing a bachelor of science at St. Lawrence University, she spent her summers working at a girls camp in Maine and school years teaching high school chemistry in Massachusetts.

Early in her career, she took a year off and spent 10 months traveling internationally through Canada, Asia, Australia and New Zealand. She enjoyed the expatriate experience so much she then sought and obtained an overseas teaching position at the American International School in Bucharest, Romania.

After two years teaching IB Chemistry in Romania, Jen moved back to the US and spent time in the LA area teaching physical science and chemistry. Shortly after the birth of their daughter, Jen and her husband moved to Boise. They have been here more than 6 years, and love Boise and the outdoor lifestyle it has to offer. Since moving to Boise, Jen has mostly been a stay at home mom to her daughter and son. She also enjoys swimming, training for Olympic distance triathlons, cooking, knitting and reading.

Jen is very excited about getting back into the classroom to teach physical science and share her love of chemistry at an IB school.
