Emily received her undergraduate degree in Creative Writing and Anthropology from the College of Idaho and her Masters in Teaching from the University of Alaska. Since then, she has spent the last nine years in a variety of secondary education teaching situations all connected to literacy education. Currently, Emily is seeking a second masters from Boise State University in Literacy with the hopes of better meeting the literacy needs of students in an ever-changing world.
When Emily is not juggling teaching and going to school, she enjoys spending time with her three young children, her husband, and friends, reading, playing outside and traveling to her family home in Vermont. Click here to view her resume.
