Here are a few things of which we would like you to be aware – Happy Spring-ish Day!
The Sage Experience Magazine
Our first edition of the Sage Experience magazine (that was a hotlink in case you missed it…) is now available online. Articles written by our students, teachers, parents, administrators, and board members look back at our first 5 years and look forward to Sage’s future. We are extremely proud of our amazing young people and the entire Sage community. As the question has arisen, we wanted you to be aware that Sage Experience was fully funded via grant funds - NO public education or Mind the Gap funds were used on this project. Future editions of the magazine will be funded through advertising sales… And on that note, if you know of a local business that would be interested in advertising in our community publication, send them our way!
BSU Summer Literacy Program happening at Sage
This Summer Sage is partnering with BSU for their Summer Literacy Program. From June 8th to July 3rd BSU will hold a morning literacy program at our Parkcenter location Mondays – Fridays, from 8:30 – 12:30pm. Students participating in this program also have the option of joining ESage in the afternoons. For more information and to register, please click here.
Summer ESage Program
Truly Summer is upon us! Registration for the Summer Esage program begins March 30th. However, you are welcome to fill out your registration packets starting today. Completed packets along with a signed Risk Waiver may be turned in to either front desk beginning Monday, March 30th. You may also mail forms to Sage (Attn: ESage) at 457 E. Parkcenter Blvd., Boise, ID 83706. Please contact Arron Walton with questions.
Mind The Gap
By this time last year we were at 33% participation for Mind the Gap. At our current 26% (153 of 582 families) we are lagging a bit at the moment. Our overall goal is always 100% participation, but we would at least like to hit last year’s participation – 78% - by the end of the year, June 30th! If you have participated already, thank you! If you are waiting for an invitation, this is it! If you would like more information on why/what/how, please click here. If you have given and understand why it is important, please share that information with your friends. We’ll have more entertaining Mind the Gap communications coming up after Spring Break – stay tuned!
All school offices (and classrooms) will be closed from March 23rd – March 27th. Esage, however, will be open. Please email Arron Walton to see if there is a space available for your child.
