Aubry graduated from BSU with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Graphic Design in 2008. Part of her studies included a summer study-abroad program studying art and history while living in London.

You might wonder how graphic design has anything to do with what she does now, but before Sage, she worked at the Boise State University’s Registrars’ office for four years working with students on registration, transcripts, website issues, etc. Even though graphic design will always be one of her passions in life, she wanted to bring her long history of customer service and continue that experience in the world of education. She is always dabbing in a design project at home for freelance or just for fun!  In fact, you will probably see her working on something related to design at her desk for Sage.

Her husband, John, who was also in the Graphic Design program (that’s how they met) works as a Graphic/Web Designer in downtown Boise. Aubry is very close to her and John’s families so she enjoys spending time with them any chance she gets. Some of her favorite things are:  drinking coffee, reading Jane Austen (or anything to do with Jane) books, pancakes and fall time.

Her and her husband’s most recent hobbies are fixing up their house they recently bought and raising a black lab named Gracie who has a whole lot of energy!

Although new to charter schools, she understands the importance of shaping an individual by having an environment that is challenging enough but offers plenty of the support and structure a student needs to excel. This is her first job working with children and she loves every day of it! It makes her entire day brighten up to see so many positive and happy smiles come by her desk.
